Week 10, Term 1

Hi everyone Only two weeks left till the end of term! As you are aware, next term the library is going to become the new Room 7 classroom. Teachers are choosing a box of books for their class for the next three terms, but the rest of the books will be packed away so children will not be able to borrow books. We encourage you to borrow books from the Alexandra library during this time. All library books that are still at home need to be returned to school ASAP as the books are being packed up this week. Many Room 1 children will be moving into Room 2 at the beginning of next term to form a new Year 1 class. Notices will be going home to the parents of these children this week. Also please continue to send boxes, containers etc along for Discovery Time as one of the children's favourite activities is construction. The letter for this week is Dd. Thanks to those parents who have helped their children find items to bring along for the Room 1 "Letter of the Week" table. Just a reminder that children will be saying their prayer to the class early next week. Many children now have short prayers pasted into their homework or poetry book. Could you please help your child practise their prayer. This Friday Room 1 is presenting Assembly at 2.10 so please come along and join us if you are free. Have a good week. Julie, Sue and Neroli
