Week 9 Term 4

Hi everyone,
Well, only 1 week and one and a half days left this year! Where has it gone? And this week is so busy!!!

What's on this week?

Tuesday 12 December
Bike park day and Pool Day
Leaving school on bikes at 10am. (Please drop bikes and helmets off to school that morning. If your child cannot ride a bike, they will walk to the bike park. Please talk to your child's teacher - perhaps you are able to drop off a scooter that they can ride at the park instead).

Wear mufti and bring bike, helmet, togs, towel, goggles, large packed lunch, hat and a big drink.
Cost for this is $3 to be paid to the office by Tuesday morning.
We need parents for this, please. We already have Kirsty Anderson, Viannee Galbreath, Nadia Fodie, Claire Cockburn, Meredith Lemuelu and Christine Lanham. If you are able to help please email us at either;
suewright@stgerards.school.nz or julieflannery@stgerards.school.nz

Children are to be picked up from the pool between 2.40-2.55pm

Wednesday 13 December
Senior School to plan and run an obstacle course. This will start at 1.30pm.
Children to wear sports uniform

Thursday 14 December
Graduation Mass
6pm at Church
Children to wear school uniform. (All children expected to attend). Bibles will be given out to our newest 5 year olds.

Friday 15 December
Prizegiving 1pm,
with all children involved in telling the Christmas Story.
Parents welcome to join us for a picnic lunch at 12pm.
Please talk to your child about this: some are angels, some shepherds, some kings. Angels need wings and shepherds need a crown. These are available at the $2.00 shop or you could make a crown. (We do have some spare wings.) Shepherds only require a teatowel.

Next Monday and Tuesday morning will be spent tidying the classrooms. All books will be sent home on Friday as well as any extra books that haven't been used. You are welcome to use these next year and return any spares from your child's book box to Paper Plus. If your child is not attending school on Monday 18 or Tuesday 19 September, please email us or send a note to let us know.

Thank you all so much for your support during the year. We appreciate it so much. Have a happy Christmas and a relaxing, fun holiday.

Merry Christmas

Sue, Julie and Kate
