Week 5, Term 4

Hi everyone,

This week Sue is in Wellington for three days for her daughter's graduation, so Kate will be teaching in Room 1 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.

This is the last week for swimming so please remember togs on Tuesday and Thursday.  A big thank you to those parents who have helped with transport and dressing children.

On Wednesday there is soccer coaching for Room 1 and 2.

Thank you to those parents who are keeping us supplied with recyclable containers, bottles, boxes etc for construction.

Also please remember to collect any art you bid on for the Art Auction and Chrissy is collecting the money at the office.

It is only three weeks till our last Eisteddfod for the year and for this term it is a song.  The children will be singing a song to the class in Week 8, so now is a good time to start practising.  Room 1 may sing a nursery rhyme if they choose.  The criteria used for selecting those to perform at the Eisteddfod Assembly will be;

  • knowing the song by heart
  • tunefulness
  • volume
  • suitability of song choice
(If you have any questions about the assembly, please chat to one of us about it).

Have a great week,

Sue, Julie and Kate
