Week 8

Hi everyone,

Hope you all had a lovely weekend. It was great to see a little bit of sun!

What's Coming Up?

Thursday 21 June is our first day of ice skating. Children will need jackets, hats, waterproof pants if possible, gloves or mittens and a helmet. If you are free, please come to help as we always need parents to help with getting ice-skates on and off. Our other sessions are Tuesday 26 June, Thursday 28 June, Tuesday 3 July and Thursday 5 July. We  will be at the ice rink at 10.45 and off ice at 12pm.

The Matariki breakfast that was to be this Friday 22 June has been postponed to Week 1, Term 3 as Matariki is not visible in Central Otago at the moment but hopefully will be then.

This Wednesday is a paid union meeting for Teachers. If possible children are to picked up at 1.15pm. If your child will be at school please let me know. Wednesday is also Wig Wednesday for child cancer- please bring a gold coin.

Next Thursday 28th June is our school cultural assembly.

I also need more helpers on a Thursday afternoon for our PMP programme, this is from 2.05pm till 2.55. If you can help please write your name on the timetable on the classroom door.

This Sunday is a school Mass on Sunday, children are to wear their school uniform and sit with their class. Children new to the Room 2 will receive a bible from the PTA and families are asked to come forward with the children. If you cant make it please let me know.

Next Wednesday 27 June is our school cultural assembly.
